A Stamp Set is a collection of related Stamp Assets grouped into a single Asset. The individual Stamps inside the set are called Child Stamps.
Stamp Sets are useful when variations or very similar assets are designed to be placed quickly together, without the need to go back to the Catalog. Examples would be trees, rocks etc
Creating and Managing Stamp Sets
Stamp Sets can be created in two ways:
Drag one Asset onto another: A Stamp Set is created automatically using the first Asset as the basis for the set name.
Select multiple Assets and choose Create Stamp Set from the Details Panel: You can then choose the Stamp Set’s name and location.
Select Show on a Stamp Set to expand it and manage its Child Stamps. You can:
Reorder Child Stamps using drag and drop.
Add additional Stamps to the set.
Move Child Stamps out of the set.
Edit supported properties for individual Child Stamps.
The first Child Stamp is used as the preview image for the Stamp Set in the Catalog.
To remove a Stamp Set without deleting its Child Stamps, open the Stamp Set’s context menu and select Disband Stamp Set. The Child Stamps are moved out of the set and remain available as individual Stamp Assets.
Stamp Set Properties
Stamp Sets use the same general placement and appearance properties as Stamp Assets.
In addition, Stamp Sets provide the following property:
Randomize Stamps: Selects a random Child Stamp each time the Stamp Set is placed. When disabled, the currently selected Child Stamp is used.
Child Stamp Properties
Most properties are inherited from the parent Stamp Set. The following properties can be configured separately for each Child Stamp:
Name
Tags
Shadow
Collision
Anchor Point
This allows individual Child Stamps to use appropriate positioning, spacing, and visual settings while still sharing the general behavior of the Stamp Set.
Tips
Place the most representative Child Stamp first so it becomes the Stamp Set preview.
Enable Randomize Stamps for sets intended to create natural variation.
Use clear Child Stamp names and Tags so individual variations remain searchable.
