A Brush Layer stores painted textures and colors created with the Brush Tool. Use multiple Brush Layers to organize different terrain types, separate painted elements, to apply paint with a different blend mode, or make individual parts of your map easier to edit.
Layer Options
Brush Layers provide the following layer settings:
Opacity: Adjusts the transparency of everything painted on the layer.
Blend Mode: Controls how the painted textures and colors blend with the layers beneath them.
Tips
Paint different terrain types on separate Brush Layers to make them easier to edit later.
Use multiple Brush Layers to experiment with different textures without affecting existing work.
